Near the lake, most sacred amd oldest temple is built which is of 13th century. Throughout the year, many people visit this place as it is considered as most sacred place. From Mandi, Prashar lake is 50 kilometres away located. Primary source of water in Prashar Lake is glaciers runoff and rainwater. Phumdi island is the beautiful piece of land in the Prashar Lake. This trekking path is upto 6 to 8 kilometres. Most recommended starting point of trek is Baggi village, this path is full of dense forest.
