It is one of the most amazing trek available in Himachal. You can start the trek from Kalga. It is a 15-minute climb which will lead you to Kalga. Kalga is a small village full of mind blowing serenity and many apple orchards. Parvati valley is very much famous because of Kheerganga. 
 
During your trip to kheerganga, you will enjoy a lot. You will have to cross the Parvati river during this trek on beautiful wooden bridges. Basically, you start your journey from Barshaini. It is called as the base to Rudra Nag, Kalga and Pulga. You are free to choose any of the two routes which i will mention below:
 
1. Rudra Nag: It is a 13 km trek and involve steep climb, packed with amazing views. It is a perfect route for photography lovers and evidently easier to descend.
 
2. Kalga: It is a 17 kms trek and involves easy climbing with longer descends. It is best suited for occasional trekkers who trek only on tours. This trek can be chosen by those with low on stamina. This trekking track is not a good option for photographers looking for breathtaking landscapes.
 
Much better among the two routes is considered to be Kalga route. It is so because it involves easy trekking. You will definitely get great photography options in kheerganga.
