As you reach the Srinagar airport, our representative will guide you to your houseboat to check in from where you will have the rest of the day to yourself to either relax or walk around the city. The most important spots that you must cover in the first stoppage of your Leh Ladakh tour package are- Shankaracharya temple, Mughal Gardens, Tulip Garden, Dal Lake and Nagin Lake.
Post your morning meal; leave for Kargil and visit Sonamarg, the Meadow of Gold’, on the way. Cross by the very famous Zojila pass and the Drass Village which is known to be the second coldest occupied place in the world. While on returning back, take pleasure in the magnificent sight of the Kargil war, famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing) from Vijay war memorial hall site. After reaching Kargil by evening, have dinner followed by an overnight stay at the hotel in Kargil.
After indulging in a delish breakfast in the morning, leave for Leh. On your way back, pay a visit to Mulbek, Giant Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain, Lamayuru, one of the oldest Monastery of Ladakh and take pleasure in the view of Moon Landscape. On arriving Leh by the evening, check into your hotel, have dinner and charge yourselves up for the adventures of the next day.
On the fourth day of your Leh Ladakh tour itinerary, leave for Pangong Lake through world’s third highest motor able road Chang la, situated at a height of 17,350 feet. Your adrenaline will amplify on seeing the deep blue tint of the Pangong Tso. Do not forget to pay visits at the Hemis monastery, Thiksey monastery and the school where the Bollywood hit, ‘3 Idiots’ was shot. At night, you will camp at the Pangong. Afterwards, check into your hotel to have your dinner and stay for the night.
On Day 5 of the tour itinerary, give a visit to the monasteries in the vicinity before heading back to Leh. Post breakfast; drive to Shey Palace, Thiksey, Hemis monasteries, Stok Palace Museum & Sindhu Ghat. Return to your hotel in Leh to spend a cozy night.
Post having breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley passing through the highest motor able road in the world Khardung La. As you reach the enthralling valley, you will get to discover Deskit, Hunder Villages and double-humped Camel Safari in Sand Dunes. You will be spending the night at a hotel in the Hunder village where you will be served with a piping hot and healthy dinner.
Pay a visit to Diskit Monastery early in the morning before heading to Leh. You will be left mesmerized by the view of Nubra Valleys at this point. From there, drive back to Leh by the same route via the Khardungla Pass. Later, check-in at the hotel followed by dinner and overnight stay at Leh.
Day 8 of your Leh Ladakh tour will take you towards Sarchu. On the return journey, you will cross Lachulung La. Sarchu is the main halt point with tented accommodation in the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway, on the boundary between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh.
Post your morning meal, head to Manali via Rohtang pass. Significant points that you will come across on your journey are Keylong, Jispa and Baralacha. The highway crosses some of the highest mountain passes in the world and will prove to be one of the most remarkable and picturesque experiences of all time.
Time to say goodbye to the northernmost region of the country, check out smoothly from the hotel and wait to be transferred to the airport to board the flight to reach back home.
